Calling all Victorian Baseball registered
West Region Little Leaguer’s that were
born between 1st May
1997 and 30th April 1999 ONLY. We
will be holding our selection trials for the
Melbourne West GIANTS Little League Squad at
Newport Baseball Club – 120 Park Cres.
Williamstown North starting on Saturday 30th
January 2010. Please be at Newport on
Saturday at 9.00am sharp to register and
attend this first trial which will run from
9.00am till 11.30am. Selection trials will
then continue on Wednesday 6PM 3rd
February and Saturday 9AM 6th
February at NEWPORT venues still to be “locked in”.
You must attend a minimum of two of these
trials to be eligible to be selected in the
squad.
Please be aware that you are trials for
the 2010 Melbourne West GIANTS Little League
squad. This squad will participate in the
Friendship series which will take place
26th March 2010 till the 1st April 2010 and
then in the State Championships 9th April
2010 till the 11th April 2010. If
successful at the State Championships in
April, the team will then compete in the
National Championships which are held
in June. The successful team from here
taking part in the Asia Pacific tournament
in July. Also note that some of these dates
will clash with schooling for some
children. There will be financial costs
associated with participation in these
teams, especially if progressing through to
the National Level .
