SEASON 2026-27 FEES & REGISTRATION

Registration for Summer 2026/27 opens 1 September 2026.

New Process This Season

Every Newport player must complete two steps to be eligible for the first game.

1. Register with Baseball Australia and Baseball Victoria, and pay their fee (this includes your insurance).

2. Pay your Newport club fee straight into the club bank account. The BA and BV payment must be done before your first game. No exceptions. That amount is set by Baseball Australia and Baseball Victoria, not by us.

Volunteers still need to do Step 1, but you do not pay the BA and BV fee. That covers you for BA insurance. This includes committee, coaches, scorers, team managers, umpires, and anyone helping out around training, game days, or the club in general.

Social members only need Step 2.

Step 1: Register with Baseball Australia and Baseball Victoria

New players and volunteers need to create an account. You can register other family members at the same time.

When you first log in, enter your usual email address (the same one you used last season). GameDay will email you to set a password. Hang on to it, you will need it again next season.

Pick the options that apply to you and pay by credit card or PayPal. The registration will fail if the fee is not paid at the time.

Having trouble logging in or creating an account? Call the Baseball Victoria office on 9645 8000 and ask for the Competition Coordinator.

Step 2: Pay your Newport club fees

Club fees are due by your first game of the season.

If that is not going to work for you, you can still play as long as you have a payment plan agreed with our Treasurer, Josh, before your first game. Get in touch at treasurer@newportrams.com or have a chat with any committee member.

We know cost of living is biting, so there are two options.

Option 1: Pay in full before your first game.

Option 2: Set up a payment plan with Josh before your first game.

Payment plans need to be finished on the agreed timeline. If payments stop and we do not hear from you, you may not be selected until the fees are paid in full.

Any junior playing juniors and seniors needs to choose the "Junior also playing seniors" option. That covers juniors who start the season in seniors, and juniors who turn 14 during the season and plan to move up. Applies to both men's and women's comps.
