The Gold Merino Club is for parents and die-hard Newport Rams supporters who want to back the club in a real, practical way. It's a simple, meaningful way to chip in beyond registration fees and help fuel the next chapter of the Rams, from upgrades and equipment to the little extras that make game day feel like home. This year, every Gold Merino member gets their own Rams polo top as a thank you for their support.
Funds raised through the Gold Merino Club go towards improving the comfort and amenity of our clubrooms. Previous investments have included fridges, commercial coffee machine, Hack Attack pitching machines, a new sound system and projector, a kitchen oven, televisions for both rooms and a pool table, along with many other upgrades that enhance the experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

How it works
The Gold Merino Club is member-driven. Every member gets one vote on which project the money goes to, and the committee can't override that. They can suggest ideas, but they can't direct the spend.
Funds go to enhancement projects only. Things like BBQ facilities, TVs, and spectator comfort. Never day-to-day running costs like uniforms, insurance or league fees.
After member benefits and admin are covered, everything left forms the annual project pool. You get a financial summary each year showing exactly what came in and where it went. Every funded project carries visible recognition of the Gold Merino Club.
